Launched in 2023 during the Science Centre’s inaugural Space Festival, this ongoing collaboration has been nothing short of astronomical!

  • How It All Began: Dot in Space 2023

    Our first-ever Dot in Space was all about making space fun, interactive, and accessible for everyone. Here’s what we brought to life:


    ✨ The Planet Personality Quiz Debut

    Visitors stepped into the shoes of a space explorer with our first physical launch of the Planet Personality Quiz. From colorful flipboards revealing planetary personalities to interactive poster displays, attendees could take the quiz right there, unlocking their cosmic identity.


    🪐 Interactive Activities Galore

    Hands-on displays and activities merged Singapore’s growing space industry with the mysteries of the universe, sparking curiosity and awe among visitors of all ages.


    🍴 Dining Among the Stars

    The launch of Dot in Space was paired with an out-of-this-world talk and dining experience. Imagine dining in an immersive outer space environment while hearing experts share bite-sized insights into the cosmos and beyond. It was the perfect fusion of science, culture, and starlight.

    • Bigger and Better: Dot in Space 2024

      Fast forward to 2024, and Dot in Space went full supernova! The exhibition tripled in size and brought even more cosmic fun to the Science Centre. This year’s highlights included:


      💻 Digital Planet Personality Quiz

      We took our beloved quiz to the next level—literally! Visitors could now take the quiz digitally on touchscreens or their mobile devices, thanks to a custom-coded upgrade from the Spaceytales team.


      🌟 Spaceytales Planet Plushies

      We introduced our beloved plushies to Dot in Space visitors! Available in the Science Centre’s gift shop and online, these cuddly cosmic companions flew off the shelves and into space lovers’ hearts.


      🛸 Enhanced Interactive Activities

      With even more hands-on displays, we ensured visitors could truly experience the wonders of space, from exploring planetary science to learning about Singapore’s role in the commercial space industry.
